FAQ & Our Policy



You do not need an appointment to get tattooed. However, we're a very in-demand tattoo studio, and artists may be booked several weeks/months in advance so appointments are preferred. Be sure to take a look at our work portfolio and make sure the artist is right for your needs. We pride ourselves on being a well-rounded and versatile tattoo shop. Remember, what we do is in our name--Clean, Classic, and Custom tattooing. If you do not see something you like, just ask.



  • To retain the tattooing services of an artist here at Cyclops Tattoo a cash deposit is required.
  • Deposits will vary from $50.00 to $100.00  depending on the length of you appointment and will be applied to the final price of your tattoo service.
  • Your cash deposit must be paid when booking your appointment.
  • Please do not assume that you have an appointment if you did not make a deposit with an artist.
  • Please be aware that your deposit is not transferable for use by another person.



  • You fail to give a 48 hour notice to reschedule an appointment.

  • You missed your appointment.

  • Time has been spent on your design and you decide not to get your tattoo.



  • Cyclops Tattoo gift certificates may be used the same as cash. Funds remaining on gift certificates may be used towards another tattoo--there are no balance refunds.





  • Please bring proper identification with you when booking an appointment such as:
    • Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID, or Passport.
  • You must be at least 18 years old  to get tattooed--NO EXCEPTIONS 

(This means that no one can sign a Cyclops Tattoo release form for you.)



  • If you are late to your appointment, you may or may not be tattooed; you are only cutting into your own time.



  • In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, a notice of at least 48 hours is required. Without proper 48 hour notice, you will forfeit your deposit.

  • If you reschedule your appointment with proper notice, we will transfer your full deposit to a new appointment.

  • If you cancel a second time, you will forfeit your deposit and will need another deposit to book a new appointment.

  • If you miss your appointment a third time, you may be asked to pay in full for your new tattoo session or may not be permitted to schedule again at Cyclops Tattoo.



  • For tattoos created at Cyclops Tattoo, touch-up appointments are free and do not require a deposit as long as they are scheduled within 90 days of the original tattoo appointment and are done by the original artist.

  • Tattoos done elsewhere do not qualify for free touch-up.

  • New additions to existing tattoos (regardless if they are less than 90 days old) are just that--new additions and do not qualify as touch-ups. Please consult with your artist about additional costs.


You may be charged if your tattoo did not heal properly due to your negligence, such as:

  • Sun exposure

  • Swimming (lakes, rivers, swimming pools, hot tubs, etc.)

  • Failure to follow our provided aftercare instructions

  • Or if you followed someone else’s tattoo healing recommendations, voids the warranty.


Hand and finger tattoos are prone to fading quickly and may not be eligible for a free touch-up and will require payment. If you do not show up to your touch-up appointment, you may be required to pay a deposit to be scheduled a second time.




  • To maintain a clean and sanitary environment, no food is allowed.

  • Eat before your arrive for your tattoo--do not fast. Tattooing can be hard on some people and sessions can last for several hours.
  • Water and pop are permitted as long as the lid can be securely closed.




  • We want your tattoo experience to be fun and enjoyable, keep in mind that there are other artists working in the same vicinity. Bringing a crowd of people with you is not only distracting to the artist tattooing you, but also to the other artists who need to be able to give their undivided attention to their customers.
  • You are only allowed to bring one person with you during the duration of your tattoo session.
    • If multiple people come with you, only one person at a time is allowed to step back with you into the tattooing area--NO EXCEPTIONS.


  • We know your phone is your life, but please keep in mind that you are being tattooed and must sit still during the session.
  • Your phone may or may not be allowed. (artist’s discretion)
  • Even if your artist okays your phone, NO PHONE CALLS are allowed. Artists need to be able to concentrate on their customers, not be distracted by your conversations.


Please be courteous and remember that:

  • This is an ADULTS-ONLY facility. At no time are children allowed in the tattooing area. For their safety and as a courtesy to our other patrons, make arrangements for childcare during your tattoo appointment.

  • The only time it is appropriate to bring a child with you is when you come to the shop to inquire about getting a tattoo.
